The battle between protesters and police intensifies on college campuses across the nation.

Observers are criticizing the violent and unnecessary force used by police officers at Columbia University, the University of Texas in Austin, and the University of Arizona, and an attack by counter-protesters at the University of California, Los Angeles. Nearly 1,000 students have been arrested across the nation as they protest their schools' ties to companies profiting off of Israel's attack on Gaza.
