Welcome to Thursday, April 25th, readers near and far...
Biden signed a bill that approved aid for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan, which could lead to a ban on TikTok.Ā
The military aid package isĀ worth $95 billion, providing resources to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. Biden is facing heavy criticism for continuing to arm Israel as it proceeds in its war against Hamas, which has left more than 35,000 Palestinians dead in its wake.
The newly signed billĀ requires TikTokās parent company, ByteDance, to sell the appās U.S. operations. If the Beijing-based company fails to do so, the app will be banned nationwide, blocking app stores and web hosts from distributing it.

No. Hamas needs to be destroyed. A ceasefire will leave Hamas in place. Isreal cannot tolerate this, obviously.Ā
Ā
Hamas has the West's number. They know how to influence us. They know how we think. Why don't we understand this?
Yes, the US should call for a ceasefire with no preconditions. It seems that we are unable to get the hostages released with the current state, but maybe once there's a ceasefire there will be a way to negotiate the release of all hostages and a way to provide more aid to innocent people.Ā
Hamas should be eliminated, but not without the safety of hostages and innocents guaranteed.
